The Darling New series from Duravit
The Duravit Darling New range comprises a complete programme of sanitary ceramics consisting of various washbasins, WCs, bidets and bathtubs. It is the new edition of the popular Darling series from the traditional German manufacturer Duravit, with the design coming from sieger design. We produce vanity units especially for the washbasins in this series from Duravit.
The principle of a vanity unit
Regular washbasins are attached to the wall at the back to support the weight. In addition, the washbasin requires connections to the hot and cold water as well as a connection to the waste water pipe. In addition to a mirror cabinet above the basin, a washbasin vanity unit offers the option of storing various bathroom utensils within easy reach. A vanity unit corresponds to the dimensions of the respective washbasin, taking into account the installation pipes. As the vanity unit is retrofitted, these cabinets do not have a rear panel and drawers have a cut-out for the washbasin waste pipe.
Equipment features and finish of the vanity units
The vanity units therefore consist of a carcass that is missing both the back panel and the top: the vanity units fit exactly under the washbasins in Duravit's Darling New range. The width of the cabinets is therefore based on the width of the washbasins. They are mounted on the wall using sturdy steel brackets. Each vanity unit has two drawers that extend across the entire width and can be opened using a metal handle. Thanks to the self-closing mechanism and soft-closing mechanism, the drawers close almost silently. The elegant design of the vanity units is based on a modern and timeless design language, the clarity of which dispenses with any decorative elements. The high-quality workmanship and timeless design ensure that your designer bathroom will look new and elegant for years to come. The Duravit vanity units are supplied pre-assembled, with the necessary installation accessories also included.
The colour options
You are free to choose the colour of the front and carcase, with a choice of truffle, walnut, Hacienda black, Macassar, core apple, olive and white as well as high-gloss black. The high-gloss lacquer finish is applied in several stages, resulting in a high-quality surface that is characterised by a particularly long service life. There are two options for the handles.
